How to Play 2048
2048 is a single-player sliding tile puzzle. Your goal is to combine numbered tiles until you create a tile with the value 2048.
⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️Use arrow keys on desktop or swipe on mobile to slide all tiles in one direction.
🔢Two tiles with the same number that collide merge into one tile worth double.
✨After every move a new tile (worth 2 or 4) appears in a random empty cell.
🏆Reach the 2048 tile to win — or keep going to beat your high score!
💡Use Undo to take back your last move if things go wrong.
Tips & Strategy
- Keep your highest tile in one corner and build around it.
- Avoid sliding in the direction of your best tile whenever possible.
- Build chains — keep tiles in descending order along one edge.
- Plan ahead — avoid filling the board with tiles you can't merge.
