How to Play
Minesweeper is a classic logic puzzle. Hidden mines are scattered across the grid — your job is to reveal every safe cell without detonating any of them.
🖱️Left-click (or tap) to reveal a cell. Numbers show how many mines touch that cell in the 8 surrounding squares.
🚩Right-click on desktop, or enable Flag mode and tap on mobile, to place or remove a flag on a suspected mine.
💣If you reveal a mine the game ends. All mines are shown and wrong flags are marked ❌.
😎Reveal every non-mine cell to win. The face turns 😎 and all remaining mines are auto-flagged.
🔢The top-left counter shows mines remaining (total mines minus flags placed). The top-right is your elapsed time in seconds.
Difficulty levels
- Beginner — 9×9 grid, 10 mines
- Intermediate — 16×16 grid, 40 mines
- Expert — 30×16 grid, 99 mines
Each day a unique seeded board is generated so everyone in Singapore plays the same layout. Press New Game at any time for a fresh random board, or click the emoji face to restart the current layout.
Tip: Your first click is always safe — mines are placed after you click, so you can never lose on the very first move.
