Spelling Bee

Rules

• Every word must be at least 4 letters long.
• Every word must contain the centre letter (yellow).
• Letters may be used more than once.
• Common proper nouns and obscure words are not accepted.

Scoring

• 4-letter words — 1 point
• 5+ letter words — 1 point per letter
• Pangrams — a word that uses all 7 letters at least once earns a bonus +7 points on top of its length score. Pangrams are highlighted in yellow in your found-words list.

Controls

• Tap or click the letter hexagons to build a word.
• Use your keyboard to type directly — only the 7 puzzle letters are accepted.
• Press Enter or tap the Enter button to submit.
• Press Backspace or tap Delete to remove the last letter.
• Tap Shuffle to rearrange the surrounding letters — this can help you spot words you might have missed.
